Enter to WIN James Bennett's 2023 Calendar Competition

This year’s James Bennett Calendar Competition is Celebrating our Librarians!!

We’re looking for 12 inspiring photos from our incredible libraries, for our 2023 James Bennett wall calendar.

This year, our theme is Celebrating our Librarians” and we want you to submit a photo that you feel showcases your amazing staff and the wonderful work they do in your Library.

Show us the creative and unique ways your library staff go about their day.

Examples include:

  • Running a story time session, book group or other programs and events
  • Opening duties
  • After hours (closing up) and having some fun doing so
  • Book face – a book cover with a face over a librarian’s torso
  • Dressed up for Book Week
  • Staff parties or celebrations
  • Team / mascot photo
  • Candid moments (for any enthusiastic photographers)
  • Embracing Diversity and LGBTQ+
  • Celebrating your local cultures and First Nations heritage

This year we are offering great PRIZES for the best photos!

1st prize: 12 month subscription to CCM Lite
2nd prize: 6 month subscription to CCM Lite
3rd prize: Mystery Book Prize Pack

What you need to know:

Due date: images need to be received at James Bennett by 5pm AEDT, Monday 22nd August to be considered.

File size: Images must be high resolution: 300dpi at 30cm wide. Landscape orientation is preferred.

How to submit: Email your image to jbmarketing@bennett.com.au and please include your library details, a description of your image and your contact details so we can get in touch if necessary. You can also submit via Dropbox or WeTransfer using the same email address.

Criteria: We can only choose 12 images and we’ll be looking for as wide a variety as possible, including locations of libraries and what the image shows. Please do keep our theme Celebrating our Librarians” in mind when choosing photos to send us.
