StoryBox has some wonderful new releases to share with you

Too Loud Lily is the delightful story of Lily Hippo who discovers - with the help of Miss Loopiola, her new music and drama teacher - that she’s exactly the right kind of loud. Written by Sofie Laguna, illustrated by Kerry Argent and performed by the incomparable Dolly Diamond, this story celebrates finding your voice.

 


Wai Chim is back Last-Place Lin has Lin excited for her first sports day! And while things don’t turn out the way she’d planned, that’s okay. Wai Chim, with acclaimed illustrator Freda Chiu, presents this wonderful - and relatable - story about resilience and celebrating personal victories. 

 

We LOVE unicorns! And Great and Smallthe story of Eunice the Unicorn is all about a tiny unicorn with BIG dreams to compete at the Great Unicorn Games.  Read by the amazing Ellie Cole, written by talented Alison McLennan, and illustrated by Connah Breconthis is one super story - and unicorn.

 

Goal!!! Written and read by the multi-talented Lydia Williams, illustrated by Lucinda Gifford, this wonderful tale is about the joy and friendships to be found in sport. A gorgeous story, written by the star goalkeeper for the Matildas! 

 

Our CBCA Shortlisted Titles

 

We’re delighted to share When You’re a Boyfrom debut author Blake Nuto. A beautiful exploration into the many ways there are to be a boy. Blake’s gorgeous story, read by the talented Peter Houghton, is one that you’ll definitely want to watch!

 

 

Come and meet the fabulous Gymnastica Fantastica! From teapot to ninja squat, the sheer joy of this story is sure to hit the spot! Written and illustrated by award-winning talent, Briony Stewart, and read by proud Warumungu/Yawuru woman, Megan Waters, this wonderful story is a true delight.

 

 

Meet Roy. He thinks he’s pretty ordinary but he’s not, because he’s got ARMS. That Bird Has Arms! is a gorgeous story about being different and taking pride in being YOU. Written by Kate & Jol Temple, and illustrated by Ronojoy Ghosh & Niharika Hukku, and read by the talented Em Rusciano, we know you’ll love this story.
