This month’s story release features the all-star cast behind Your Birthday Was the BEST! Everyone’s favourite cockroach is back, and this time he’s going to school! Charming, hilarious and just a tiny bit disgusting, Your School is the BEST! is a back-to-school tale with a twist, written by Maggie Hutchings, illustrated by Felicita Sala and read by Laurence Boxhall.
“When I was asked to help develop a project with some of Australia’s best, and most visionary children’s creators, aimed at inspiring primary-school-aged kids to tap into their creativity and get writing – a tiny part of my brain wondered if I did, in fact, have any inspiring wisdom left to impart.”
In-house author and book creator Melissa Keil shares her insights into the creative process, and working on our brand-new Story Tools series, launching early next year.
Story Tools will first be an exclusive resource for subscribing educators, launching early 2023. For any libraries interested in sharing how Story Tools could benefit their public library, email the team at libraries@storyboxlibrary.com.au.
