11 March 2014
The State Library of Victoria continues to celebrate the centenary of their iconic dome with a collection of 100 memories, stories, anecdotes and interviews.
The collection includes the memories of prominent Victorian artists, authors, intellectuals and caretakers and details many of the projects that have been born or inspired by the domed reading room.
The stories of celebrities Peter Carey, Morris Gleitzman, Julia Zemiro, Stephanie Alexander and many more sit side by side with the memories of the library's caretakers, restoration experts and loyal patrons.
Throughout March 2014 there will be tours of the iconic domed La Trobe Reading Room from 2-3pm daily (except public holidays).
